On or about February 18, 2014, USS FORRESTAL
(CV-59) arrived at All Star Metals for dismantling and recycling. Since then, much has
happened. From it's website:
"On this Memorial Day we remember all the
men and women who died while serving in the country's armed forces.
Over the last few months ASM has received countless letters from many for the USS Forrestal family members.
We salute all the men and women who served on the Forrestal and gave their lives for the freedom that all
of us have today. We salute all the men and women who are currently in the armed forces, and look forward
to their safe passage home. Today, we have released the pictures from the USS Forrestal event at
ASM."
